Problems in car parks arise from static loads constantly pressing on the ground surface. Over time the subgrade settles and puddles form after rain. A muddy car park not only reduces the bearing capacity of the soil but also spoils the look and function of the area. Asphalt or concrete can still create puddles without a good drainage system, and they also reduce green space, making the area less attractive and less environmentally friendly.
