Drainage is essential in construction projects to prevent water buildup that can undermine the stability of structures and soil. As a modern solution, geosynthetic technology carries excess water away safely without damaging the surrounding material.
Technically, the system uses a combination of three main components. Non-woven geotextile filters soil particles so they do not clog the flow, geonet provides space for water to flow horizontally, and geopipe (perforated pipe) carries the water to the final outlet.
