What Is a Geobag? Uses and Installation
What is a geobag? A geobag is a bag made from Non-Woven Geotextile or woven geotextile that is sewn and then filled with sand or soil.

Geobags are often seen along coastlines, where they are used to protect against coastal erosion. One effect of coastal erosion is the shrinking width of beaches, which narrows the shoreline, and geobags can be a solution to this problem.
Geobag Installation
The first step in geobag installation is filling the bag with sand or rock. The geobag must then be closed by sewing, with the seam about 2 cm from the top edge of the bag. Geobags are very environmentally friendly compared with other geosynthetic products.
