What Is Multifilament Woven Geotextile?
Woven Geotextile Multifilament Yarn / Woven Polyester, or multifilament geotextile, is a woven geotextile with a uniaxial or biaxial pattern, used specifically for extra reinforcement, especially where the material must have high tenacity and adequate water absorption.
The benefits of this material include very high strength of up to 200 kN/m, corrosion resistance, water permeability, ease of storage and transport, and very strong durability. There are 2 types of multifilament yarn geotextile, distinguished by their weave: biaxial and uniaxial.

This type of Geotextile material is generally used in road reinforcement projects and as a very effective and efficient soil stabilizer. This geotextile is made in several types based on its weight (gsm) per m2: the higher the weight per m2, the higher its tensile strength. The choice of type depends on the subgrade conditions, the intended use and the design load.
